Natural treatment, natural results

It’s no wonder Profhilo® is rapidly becoming a popular treatment. Administered beneath the skin using very fine needles, it differs from other injectables and dermal fillers as it’s made from specially formulated, non-cross linked, hyaluronic acid, a natural substance which both attracts water into the skin and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. Combined, this creates a tightening and lifting effect on the skin tissue, improving the appearance from within.

A revolutionary ingredient

Essentially a moisturiser, hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occuring substance that can be found in many skincare products. Profhilo® uses a high concentration of synthetic HA which has a lower molecular weight than other dermal fillers. This means that it can be injected without causing damage, and be absorbed quickly by the skin, leading to quick results.

How does Profhilo® treatment work?
Profhilo® is administered beneath the skin using fine needles. It uses hyaluronic acid to increase hydration and boost the production of collagen and elastin, leading to a refreshed, hydrated and youthful appearance.
How long does it take to see results?
Profhilo® is a skin booster treatment so we recommend starting with 2 treatments, a month apart. Within the first few weeks you will see noticeable results. After your initial treatments, we’d recommend topping up every 4-6 months.
Which areas can be treated?
Profhilo® is mostly used on the face to treat areas prone to fine lines, wrinkles and sagging like laughter lines, around the mouth, and the jowls area. It can also be used to rejuvenate skin on the neck, decolletage, hands and even knees.
Are there any side-effects of Profhilo® treatments?
Immediately after your treatment you may notice small raised areas around the injection sites, which is very common with any injectable treatment. These should subside within 72 hours.
Does it hurt?
The needles used are very small to make sure that you are comfortable throughout the procedure.
How do I look after my skin following Profhilo® treatment?
It’s important to leave the treated areas alone and not massage or manipulate where you have had Profhilo® injected. This can cause migration and affect your results. We’d also recommend avoiding alcohol for 24 hours before and after treatment, and avoiding any extreme heat or cold temperatures which could also affect the efficiency of the product.
