What is the process?
We’ll scan and map your jaw to ensure that you are suitable for the treatment and to ensure the best results. On the day of your appointment, we’ll remove any failed teeth or bridgework and insert implants, which will be able to support a full row of artificial teeth.
You’ll be given a high-quality temporary restoration to wear while your permanent teeth are being created and perfected. Once your implants have fully fused with your jawbone and healed, we’ll then fix your permanent bridge. You’ll be able to leave the clinic with a new and brilliant smile.
How long does it take to insert the initial implants?
The procedure to insert your implants can take between two and four hours for each arch. Both your top and bottom sets of teeth can be done in the same visit.
How long will it take for my mouth to heal after having the implants inserted?
It will take around eight weeks for your implants to fuse to your jaw and heal. During this time, you’ll be able to test-drive your new smile, and make any changes to the final result, from colour and texture to the positioning of your new teeth.
Will I be awake during the process?
You can choose between being awake, using a local anaesthetic, or for the procedure to take place under conscious sedation.
